Halloween Coding Game for Kids
A screen-free coding game for children from four, where a ghost crosses a haunted graveyard to reach the jack-o'-lantern.
Coding starts long before a keyboard: putting steps in order, turning a direction into a move, finding the step that went wrong. Here the program is a row of tiles that snap together, and the child checks it by moving the ghost square by square — when it bumps into a tombstone, the bug is right there on the table.
In the box - A board, 19.8 × 19.8 cm (7.8 × 7.8 in), with a 6 × 6 grid of pockets and A–F / 1–6 coordinates - A ghost, a jack-o'-lantern to reach, five tombstones and two cauldrons as obstacles, and a bat to mark the bug - Eighteen program tiles that snap together like puzzle pieces: START, four arrows in each direction — one colour per direction — and a ghost tile to finish - Twenty-four cards, 11.4 × 8.3 cm (4.5 × 3.25 in): a how-to-play card and twenty-three challenges on three levels — straight, turn, go around
Every challenge can be built with the tiles in the box; each card gives the minimum number of arrows, and the solution in small print for the adult.
Card language The cards are printed in English or in French; choose when ordering.
Age Four to eight, with an adult nearby: the pieces are small parts.
Made to order
Nothing here sits on a shelf waiting. Each piece is printed after you order it, which is why the colour you choose is the colour you get.
How it's made
Printed one at a time on BambuLab machines, in PLA — a plant-based bioplastic made from corn, and recyclable. Fine layer lines are visible up close on any printed object; that is what tells you it was made rather than moulded.
Care
Rinse and wipe clean with a cloth. Printed parts are not dishwasher-safe and should not be left in a hot car — PLA softens with heat. Colours other than white may fade if the piece lives outdoors.
Shipping
Orders ship from Quebec, usually within 1 to 3 business days.
